By last year�s residence in freedom of Tihomir Oreskovic, who is sentenced in Rijeka on 15 years in prison for till now solved the most monstrous war crime commited by Croatian army, are shuddered Milorad Pupovac, Zoran Pusic, Branko Mijic and Vesna Skare-Ozbolt. Former Minister of Justice says that she was under pressure by the side of some men in Government (Ivo Sanader?) and secret services (Tomislav Karamarko?) to provide to Oreskovic during her mandate transfer from Lepoglava to somewhere else (probably to prison half-opened, Lipovica, where at the moment is Mirko Norac), which she did not accept. She added that Oreskovic didn�t complaint at that time about his health problems.

Ivo Banac told me that he was witness of Oreskovic�s arrival in Croatia in 1991.

- I was travelling by the last flight of American company Delta from New York airport Kennedy. I think it was the day when Baranja fell � 25 August 1991. To my seat approached one guy with beard and asked me if I was professor Banac. He introduced himself as Tihomir Oreskovic and told me that he was going to Croatia to fight. He started to annoy me with some brochures about guerrilla warfare (CIA�s? comm. Z.P.). I was wondering why did he need brochures about guerrilla warfare if we were going to establish state and army, but I didn�t ask much. Later one policeman who was working at the airport Pleso at that time, told me that together with Oreskovic in the same aeroplane came contingent of weapons. Surely you ask how that weapon could pass severe control on New York airport. I ask that myself, he told me that in front of witnesses Ranko Ostojic, Ivan Padjen and Josip Boljkovac, American-Croatian professor Ivo Banac.

Deceased Milan Levar not rarely used to say that Oreskovic is an American, for what he has done in Gospic he was instructed in the USA. Allegedly Levar said that in his testimony in Hagg in 1997 so at that time Haag�s prosecutor, Louis Arbour was in big problem. Because of Levar�s testimony in Haag allegedly even Carla Del Ponte decided to leave trial to Oreskovic and Norac to be held in Croatia.

The fact that Oreskovic in America was a CIA man, on trial in Rijeka confirmed also Smiljan Reljic, and Josip Perkovic found out that he got the fact from Nikola Stedul . Oreskovic himself in interview for Vecernji list said that in America he was cooperating with FBI, allegedly against UDBA.

When after murder of Milan Levar he suppose to be detained, allegedly he asked for help of embassy of the USA in Croatia, but logically, Americans didn�t want to hear about him. In complaint on the sentence to Supreme Court he asked to be heard American of Croatian origin, Toni Kujundzic and offered the court his address in the USA.

Besides all this, I don�t believe that American administration asked from Ivo Sanader and Tomislav Karamarko to make easier prison days for Tihomir Oreskovic.

I know for certain that Tomislav Karamarko is connected with group around Mirko Norac and Tihomir Oreskovic. Karamarko, as a chief of UNS 2000/01, has blocked police from interrogation of one witness who could connect Oreskovic with murder of Milan Levar. The security chief of UNS, Zoran Cvrk, in close connections with police specialists Mladen Markac and Franjo Drljo, allegedly at that time actively participated in obstruction of investigation of Milan Levar�s murder. According to unofficial information of 45 lines, Zoran Cvrk who works today as a commissioner for security of HNS, personally was giving track suits and T-shirts of HNS (Croatian football league) to Tihomir Oreskovic in which he walks around in Zagreb and Lika.

If he expects any support from international community for forthcoming elections, Prime Minister Ivo Sanader will have to firmly fence himself from newly scandal situation with Oreskovic for which formal responsibility is on Ministry of Justice.

President Stjepan Mesic should react too, considering that secret services are under his tutorship. Allegedly these days Mesic asked for a report from Tomislav KaramarkoJosip Boljkovac and in which is claimed that chief of SOA Zagreb Milijan Brkic because of letter which got , another former police specialist, illegally runs investigations about communist post war crimes and that he closely cooperates with the group of Vice Vukojevic.

As in todays column in Novi list noticed Branko Mijic, �President Mesic by amnesty reduced sentence for two years to the third condemned for Gospic crime, Stjepan Grandic�, so Mesic�s possible moves in sanctioning of responsibility for Oreskovic�s living in freedom should not be taken as the honest ones.

Namely, SOA�s circles are talking that Mesic is thinking about replacing Tomislav Karamarko and putting on his place inclined to SDP Spiro Mise, present consultant of SOA�s chief for operative. In fact, Karamarko would be promoted because he would be placed after that for chief of office of Council for national security (something like former UNS on which front he has already been). From that position Karamarko could still supervise the work in SOA and be sure that nobody is doing nothing against him and Mesic. After all, meanwhile he by connections employed in SOA tenths of loyal people to himself, whom Mise, even if he wants to, couldn�t fire instantly.

The circles bring also the sensational gossip by which there is a agreement Mesic-Karamarko, which says that present President will do everything in his power in order to, in a few years, Tomislav Karamarko inherit him on the top of the state.

Columns, statements and texts of Ivo Pukanic are extremely suitable for analyses to researchers of international corruption and organized crime. In todays column Sarkozy and third mobile operator , Pukanic involved new French President in potential corruption scandal with the Croatian Government. The owner of Nacional claims that Sanader’s government should make possible entering of French telecommunication giant Alcatel on Croatian market through giving concession to Monaco’s Match T�l�com, and in return French would guarantee to Croatia starting of negotiations with EU without condition of arresting Ante Gotovina.

As usual, whenever Pukanic writes about Gotovina and French always in background must be President Stjepan Mesic and enterpreneur sentenced for kidnapping of juvenile, Hrvoje Petrac. Pukanic drags in Sarkozy in corruption story to give Croatian public false explanation of probable stand of new French President with regard to his colleague Mesic and his �businesses� with Chirac and French Ministry of Defence in which mediated Hrvoje Petrac.

As far as I know Nicolas Sarkozy as a Home Secretary was not delighted with a fact that French Ministry of Defence gave villa to Hrvoje Petrac in the south of France as a gift for merits in jobs with military-industrial complex Giat. Nacional in 2003 informed about Petrac’s business with French and Djuro Djakovic:

Chirac’s men in Ministry of Defense were strongly opposing on every complaint about engagement of Hrvoje Petrac with explanation that he is friend of Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, who makes possible to France profitable jobs with Croatia.

So also the story which was published by Le Monde that Ante Gotovina after 2003 lived in the south of France (most probably in Petrac’s villa) more and more seems to be true.

Croatian President Mesic during his last visit to colleague Chirac had guaranteed one more big job to French Ministry of Defense and military-industrial complex.

At the end of last month France has offered to Croatian shipbuilding extremely favourable joint project of building of militry vessels. To Croatia is offered participation in building French frigate FREMM on 16 bow section of which every is 70 meters long. The offer is valid if Croatia decides to acquire four French corvettes type Gowind 200, of which only one would be built in French shipyard and the last three in one of Croatian shipyards, most probably in Kraljevica. It is the matter of business that has not been offered to Croatia since its moment of independence and it can not be compared with no alike, at least when it is the matter of defence project of Republic of Croatia with some other European country.

In order the job to be implemented, Chirac and French Ministry of Defense decided to help Mesic who in front of international community compromised himself by helping to Gotovina, so the job of supervision of Gotovina’s hiding they gave to intelligence general Phillipe Rondot.

All the same, Ante Gotovina was coming to Croatia, and Sanader’s government pressed by Carla Del Ponte managed to persuade the fugitive to go to Tenerife and then deliver him to Spanish police and Haag.

By unsupported information of French intelligence services at Gotovina was found one part of marked euros from kidnapping of son of Vladimir Zagorac.

President Mesic, Hrvoje Petrac and their French partners from Ministry of Defence continued with pressure on Sanader’s government to bless the contract about joint business with military vessels, exactly when a judge Ivan Turudic supposed to reach the verdict for kidnapping of Zagorac’s son.

Turudic condemned Petrac and sentenced him on six years in prison, so the French Ministry of Defence, that by the way promissed to Hrvoje Petrac an enormous fee, had to give up of business with Croatia on building corvettes and frigates.

With all that, as far as I know, Nicolas Sarkozy didn’t have anything. But, as perspectives for his winning on president elections were growing, the fears in Croatia were spreading how would he react on President Mesic and Hrvoje Petrac and their deals with French Ministry of Defence.

The lobbies in SOA inform me about great concern for alleged friendship of Sarkozy and Marin Tomulic, by whose accepted criminal notification in Paris is in progress investigation about involvment of Stjepan Mesic and Hrvoje Petrac in attempted Tomulic’s murder for which is reported Marko Nikolic.

Although we recently could hear statements of people in Sarkozy’s party that about entering of Croatia in EU would not be decided at French referendum, that is France would not put barriers to us on our way to Europe, but they are opposing that Turkey becomes a member, Ivo Pukanic, to hide revealing of possible dirt of Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, writes that France under Sarkozy could make problems to us because it blockades European constitution.

P.S. On the loom is another international disgrace with trade/smuggling of weapons with which is connected President Stjepan Mesic. On the last hearing regarding to Croatian request for extradition, suspect Vladimir Zagorec asked from Austrian judge exemption of public. Not without strong reason, the sources close to Austrian judicature are persuading me. Allegedly he is preparing to ask for political asylum in Austria on the basis of cmplaint that President Stjepan Mesic is persecuting him because, among other things, he refused to participate in smuggling of rockets S-300 to Iraq, and because of what under Mesic’s sponsorship was allegedly in Zagreb, at the beginning of mentioned year, Saddam’s chief of intelligence service. According to the same sources, in the business with Iraq and S-300 suppose to participate also Mesic’s brother-in-law, Zarko Pavlina.

Lawyer Anto Nobilo from bankruptcy manager Zeljko Klapan bought Nada Dimic

Raiffeisen BANK Austria to the firm of Ante Nobilo on base of mortgage of real estate Nada Dimic approved credit of 1.950.000 �

Lawyer of Hrvoje Petrac, Anto Nobilo is often connected with big jobs in trade of real estates, and as a main partner in those stories is mentioned Milan Mico Caric, a witness from the trial of Nikica Jelavic and boys from Knezija.

Nobilo, Caric but also Ninoslav Pavic, co-owner of EPH, recently were mentioned as persons from the shadow of firm Auctor which bought Hypo Alpe-Adria Consultants.

Nobilo and Caric in real estate jobs were connected also with Zagreb mayer Milan Bandic (parcel of �Nada Dimic� was owned by City of Zagreb, and also was mentioned deal Kerum-Bandic-Caric-Nobilo on Bundek).

Media speculation around Bundek revealed that a lawyer Anto Nobilo sold �Nada Dimic� to Zeljko Kerum.

The editor of this blog is in possession of documentation which partly reveales the mode of business of tandem Nobilo-Caric.

By above published facsimile (purchase of Nada Dimic and credit of RBA) two of them are formally in mentioned jobs appearing through the firm Poslovni centar Kre�imir of which is director Blazenka Kovac Caric, Mico�s wife.

In credit contract of almost 2 million euros, which Reiffeisen bank Austria Inc. Zagreb gave to Poslovni centar Kre�imir, and which 45 lines possesses entirely, mortgage was real estate of Nada Dimic. It is interesting that RBA made the contract with Nobilo only seven days after he agreed upon purchasing of Nada Dimic. It only proves, say the instructed, how big trust managers of RBA had in Nobilo and Caric.

In article nr.10 of this contract is said that user of the credit and co-debtor obliged �to invest 2.400.000.000 in national currency equivalent (kuna) in period till 31 March 2004 in reconstruction, renovation, building of immovables from article 5.1. and 5.2. of this contract (immovables of Nada Dimic, comm. Z.P.) with submitting accounting situations��

After the scandal with Hypo Alpe-Adria bank and affiliation Reiffeisen Zentralbank �sterreich from Wienna became more careful about crediting of Croatian entrepreneurs, and allegedly ordered to RBA Zagreb Inc. revision of bigger credit amounts. Furthermore, in headquarters in Wienna arrived a notification that Poslovni centar Kre�imir didn�t complete quoted obligation from article nr. 10 of the contract, that is of borrowed money lawyer Nobilo bought a villa on Pantovcak (allegedly next to state Villa Weiss). Till the moment of publishing of this text we couldn�t get lawyer Nobilo and Caric to hear their opinions about information which came to headquarters bank in Wienna.

In Generaluniform�hat sich Branimir Glavas von seinem Balkon aus und vor seinem zweiten, verdienten Gang in die Haft, an seine Sympathisanten gewendet und in grotesker Weise�Kroatien erniedrigt. Seinen Sohn in den Vordergrund r�ckend, bewies er erneut seine Feigheit. Die Nacht vorher hat er Schnapps und Burek serviert und wollte sich dadurch als Bosnier darstellen, obwohl er mit allen Kr�ften versuchte ein Slavonier zu werden (ein Gutsherr, Gastgeber).

Den Tod von Vjenceslav Bill�verspottend, sprach er eine Halbwahrheit aus. Der k�rzlich geschiedene Bill war nicht Hauptzeuge gegen ihn in den Untersuchungen “Garage” und “Klebeband”, aber er war Verteidiger von Osijek dem Glavas pers�nlich Ausweise unterschrieben hatte.

Von seinem Balkon aus gr�ssend, hat sich Glavas zum ersten Mal mit anderen Angeklagten im Falle “Klebeband” solidarisiert. Mit allen, ausser mit Gordana Getos-Magdic, dessen Aussage ihn am meisten belastet. Mit der Ver�ffentlichung der Anklageschrift, letzte Nacht auf seiner Website, hat er gezeigt, wieviel Schlauheit und R�cksichtslosigkeit in den Jahren 91/92 n�tig war, um einige Osijeker B�rger umzubringen, haupts�chlich Serben, die jemanden “auf die F�sse getreten sind”, und nicht weil sie zur F�nfte Kollonne geh�rten oder Geheimagenten der KOS waren.

Die gleiche Anklageschrift beweist, dass man zu seinen “Kriegstaten” auch das Ablassen von der�Befreiung�des Antunovac�dazuz�hlen kann. Eine Aufgabe, die von der Selbst�ndigen Uskok Kompanie ausgef�hrt werden sollte, mit dessen bedeutenden Mitgliedern sich Glavas nun hinter Gittern zusammengefunden hat.

Hırvatistan Y�k�ml�l�ğ�n� Yerine Getirdi: Savaş Su�lusu Zanlısı Hırvat Generali Yakalandı

Uluslararası savaş su�luları mahkemesi (International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, ICTY)�nin başsavcısı Karla del Ponte, Sırbistan ziyareti sırasında yaptığı olağan�st� basın toplantısında, ka�ak Hırvat general Ante Gotovina�nın İspanya�nın Kanarya Adaları�nda yakalandığını duyurdu. Karla del Ponte, General Gotovina�nın yakalanmasının, ICTY ve Hırvatistan yetkililerinin işbirliğinin sonucu olduğunu a�ıkladı. General Gotovina�nin yakalanması Hırvatistan�a rahat bir nefes aldırdı. Son �� yıldır ka�ak olan general, Hırvatistan�ın dış ilişkilerinde en olumsuz etken olarak kabul ediliyordu.

Hırvatistan Başbakanı İvo Sanader, yakalanma haberinden sonra yaptığı a�ıklamada, Hırvatistan�ın, kredibilitesini yeniden kazandığını ve uluslararası y�k�ml�l�klerini yerine getirildiğini vurguladı. Muhalefet partisi olan Sosyal Demokrat Parti�nin başkanı İvica Ra�an da generalin yakalanmasını �Hırvatistan i�in b�y�k bir adım� olarak kabul ettiğini a�ıkladı. Muhafazakar Partisi HSP (Hırvatistan Haklar Partisi)�nin başkanı Ante Capi� generalin yakalanmasını yorumlarken; �Hırvatistan i�in �z�c� bir g�n olduğunu, ancak generalin su�suz olduğunun mahkemede ispatlanması gerektiğini� s�yledi. Hırvatistan halkı ise, Split kentinde yapılan ve olaysız biten g�steriden başka, b�y�k bir tepki g�stermedi.

Kısaca hatırlatmak gerekirse, ka�ak general y�z�nden Hırvatistan�ın Mart ayında başlatılması gereken AB �yelik m�zakereleri ertelenmişti. �� ay sonra bir kez daha toplanan AB �yeleri bir kez daha erteleme kararı almışlardı. Bu iki ertelenmenin en �nemli sebebi ise, Karla del Ponte�nin hazırladığı ve Hırvatistan�ın Uluslararası savaş su�luları mahkemesi ile işbirliğinin yetersiz olduğunu vurgulayan raporlardır. 30 Eyl�l�de de Karla del Ponte Hırvatistan�ın işbirliğinden memnun olmadığını ileri s�r�yordu. �� Ekim�de ise, AB liderleri Hırvatistan ile m�zakerelerin başlatılıp başlatılmayacağına karar verecekti. Bu tarihe bir g�n kala Karla del Ponte�nin sunduğu raporda Hırvatistan�ın tam bir işbirliği i�inde olduğu vurgulandı ve Hırvatistan�ın AB �yelik m�zakerelerine yeşil ışık yakıldı. Raporun sonucu ise, başsavcının maruz kaldığı siyasi baskının bir sonucu olarak g�r�ld�. Ancak Belgrat�ta yaptığı a�ıklamada Karla del Ponte, ka�ak generalin izini Eyl�l ayından beri takip ettikleri ve sonunda yakalamayı başardıklarını vurguladı. Yani, Hırvatistan H�k�meti, Ekim�in başında başsavcıya ka�ak generalinin yerini tespit etmek i�in gerekli bilgilerin ger�ekten verildiğini ve buna dayanarak başsavcı da Hırvatistan�ın işbirliğini �tam bir işbirlik� olarak nitelendirdi. Şimdi de başsavcının her zaman ne yaptığını bildiğini ve siyasi bir karar vermediğini s�ylemek m�mk�nd�r.

Ekim ayında �yelik m�zakerelerinin ���nc� kez ertelenme olasılığı ile karşı karşıya kalan Hırvatistan H�k�meti, artık ICTY ile işbirliği y�k�ml�l�ğ�n� yerine getirmeye karar vermiş gibi g�r�lmektedir. Hırvatistan�daki istihbarat kurumlarını araştıran Hırvat gazeteci Zeljko Peratovi�e g�re,��Hırvatistan İstihbarat Ajansı (POA) ve cumhuriyet başsavcısı Mladen Bayi� Eyl�l ayında Gotovina�ya Hırvatistan�dan ayrılması gerektiğini s�ylediler. Hırvatistan yetkilileri, Gotovina�nın nerede olduğunu baştan beri bildikleri halde onun Hırvatistan�da yakalanmasının �ok riskli olduğunu d�ş�n�yorlardı. Bu sebeple onu b�lgeden uzaklaştırıp yurtdışında yakaladılar.� Peratovi�e g�re aynı senaryo Sırbistan yetkilileri Mladi�in yakalanmasında da uygulayacaktır.

Hırvat generalinin yakalanma haberinin Belgrat�tan duyulmasının ayrı bir �nemi vardır. Uluslararası savaş su�luları mahkemesi tarafından ve savaş su�u sebebiyle aranan kişilerden sadece altısı yakalanamamıştır. Daha da �nemlisi kalan altı kişinin hepsi Sırptır. Yani, bundan sonra Karla del Ponte�nin baskısı sadece Sırbistan�a y�nelik olacaktır. Ge�en haftaki ziyaretten sonra yaptığı konuşmasında Karla del Ponte, �Sırbistan�ın da artık s�zlerden icraya ge�mesi i�in zaman geldiğini� belirtti. 15 Aralık�ta BM G�venlik Konseyi�ne, Sırbistan�ın Uluslararası savaş su�luları mahkemesi ile olan işbirliğini değerlendiren bir rapor sunması bekleniyor. Sırbistan yetkilileri dahil herkes bu raporda Sırbistan�ın işbirliğinin �yetersiz� olarak değerlendirileceğini beklemektedir. Bu da Sırbistan�ın Ekim ayında AB ile başladığı İstikrar ve Katılım Anlaşması (SAA)�nın askıya alınabileceği anlamına gelmektedir.

Belgrat�taki Sivil Savunma Fak�ltesi�nde profes�r olan ve askeri analizler yapan Zoran Dragişi�e g�re, �Mladi�in yakalanması i�in Sırbistan�a daha fazla baskı yapılacağından ş�phe duymuyorum. Baskı arttırılacak, ��nk� Hırvatistan yetkilileri, ka�akların her yerde yakalanabileceğini g�sterdiler�. Dragişi�, savaş su�luların yakalanması ve Kosova nihai stat�s� m�zakerelerinin birbirlerini �ok yakından ilgilendiklerini de savunmaktadır. O�na g�re, ICTY ile işbirliği sorunu, Karla del Ponte�nin BM G�venlik Konseyi�ne sunacağı raporda yer alması durumunda Sırbistan�ı zor durumda bırakabilir. Bu sebeple, Mladi�in yakalanması durumunda Sırbistan�ın Kosova m�zakerelerdeki pozisyonunun g��lendirilmesine yarayabilir.
Hırvatistan �rneğinden aldığımız derslerden dolayı, 15 Aralıkta Karla del Ponte Sırbistan�ın işbirliğini �yetersiz� olarak değerlendirirse, demek ki Sırbistan ger�ekten yakın bir zamanda Ratko Mladi�i (veya diğerlerden birisini) yakalamayacaktır. Ancak bunu ne zaman yapacağı başsavcının rapordan sonra uluslararası toplumun ve �zellikle AB�nin nasıl bir tavrı sergileyeceğine bağlıdır. Hırvatistan�a yapılan baskılar tekrarlanırsa, belki Sırbistan H�k�meti de artık savaş su�lusu zanlılarının yakalanmasından başka bir se�eneği olmadığını anlar. �Bunun da bir g�n ger�ekleşmesi gerekiyordu�. İspanyol El Pais gazetesine g�re, bu s�zler yakalandığında Hırvat generalin s�ylediği s�zlerdir. Uluslararası toplumun Sırbistan�a yapacağı baskı, bu t�r c�mleleri yakın bir zamanda tekrar duymamızı sağlayabilir.

Does Stjepan Mesic hide UDBA-man Ivan Lasic?

Statement of Herzegovina’s UDBA-man Ivan Lasic about the murder of Stjepan Djurekovic

German judiciary is thinking about raising a bill of indictment against Ivan Lasic, former chief of second department of Udba (sector for emigrations) for helping in Udba’s murders regarding that he is refusing to give statement in lawsuit to Krunoslav Prates.

Recently German investigators were in Mostar where Lasic lived and found that former Udba’s chief had moved to Zagreb.

The investigators got an information that he refuses to give his testimony, although he wrote with his own hand, at the beginning of nineties, a statement to SZUP (aktualy SOA), about his knowledge of murder of Stjepan Djurekovic.

In the statement available to German public prosecutor’s office (and on 45 lines) Lasic abolished himself from responsibility for Djurekovic’s murder, but more or less he charged: Krunoslav Prates, Josip Perkovic, Stanko Colak, Stane Dolanc, Bozo Spasic, Sreten Aleksic, Srdjan Andrejevic and Zeljko Raznatovic Arkan.

Lasic came in Zagreb under tutorship of Croatian secret services with help of Ivan Bandic, present ambassador of Croatia in Hungary and Josip Perkovic, grey eminence of all Croatian spies who engage themselves for his security at Croatian President Stjepan Mesic.

In Germany could be pressed charges against Ivan Lasic, if it is to believe to statements of Tomislav Naletilic:

- Ivan Lasic was the most bloodthirsty. He started as a primary school teacher in village Rasno, and then transported for principal of dormitory in Siroki. For the function he was recruited by economist in the dormitory, Tadija Loncar, later chief of Siroki Brijeg’s UDBA, who recomended him to Stanko Colak. When Stanko Colak in seventies became chief in Belgrade, his brother Drago Colak was a chief of UDBA in Mostar, and third brother Ivan Colak was a chief of Siroki Brijeg service. Lasic and Loncar became leaders of professional killers who were killing our members throughout Germany. Late by the party line joined them Jerko Bradvica.

That was the operative cream of UDBA against Croatian emigration, which planned creating of co-operative net in emigration and organized murders abroad. The job was coordinated with chiefs of Croatian UDBA Josip Perkovic and Zdravko Mustac. They were no fanatic communists. The Lasic and Bradvica family don’t have no communist past. They were, by my opinion, dressed up executors of system who were first in duty to Josip Broz Tito, later in the same way to Franjo Tudjman and Slobodan Milosevic.

In reality, they were implementing terror and they were above their leaders because the leaders before them were a part of political terror. Motives were personal privileges, getting rich and ability to keep everyone in power under control.
