Dear friend

I will try to write to you as short as possible, because there are many new information. If something is unclear, please let me know, and I will explain it to you.

Yesterday we came back from our 2-week Croatian holiday to Switzerland. Our daughter is going to the kindergarden again. We are now here till the end of April, when there is again a 2 week holiday.

As I told you, I had a hearing at the court as former employee against Vjesnik because of an unfair dismissal. I hope to think that this trail could be settle down in the following year and very well for me. There is no possibility to I give the job back, because the newspaper Vjesnik is not anymore in possesion by the firm Vjesnik (the firm doesn’t hire journalists anymore), but I hope to get a financial compensation.

When we were in Zagreb, I got another warrant for the court. He had to come to the higher court because the state attorney (under Karamarko’s influence and demand to the court) has sent a claim regarding secrecy breach during the course of investigation.
All this is another way for Karamarko to oppress on me. The court should had dismissed the action regarding the false informations and now this action regarding secrecy breach). The hearing was postponed for the 22. of March, because I could not be in Zagreb 02.03. I had to drive my family to Switzerland.

I have no new information if the higher court set an verdict to the Karamarko against my case (for false accusations….). The district court dismissed Karamarkos action (for procedural reasons) and Karamarko to a higher court.

As you know, our new croatian president is Ivo Josipović. I am very dissapointed with his first moves. Half of the office is taken from the old president Mesic. The worse example is the old-new (same) position of Saša Perković. He has still his job as advisor for national security. Josipović explained this as follows: he claimed in public that Perković junior helped him during the presidental campaign to protect his security. Allegedly some ex spies made some files with various rumours and lies about the presidental candidates and sent these files to some newspapers and all the presidental candidate headquaters. But no newspapers published these files and there were no harm. But obviosly Josipović was the only candidate who asked directly Mesić for help and Mesić gave him Perković to solve the problem. The very famous and knwon professor Žarko Puhovski claims in an interview that Saša Perković infringe the law, because he is not allowed to help one of the candidate, he is not allowed to deal with information. But this is not the only sin of Saša Perković. I rember him in the Zagorac case (Zagorec is a war weapon smuggler who was accusated for stealing some diamonds), when Saša went to Vienna in 2007 (without the knowledge of the state attorney) and wanted to persuade Zagorec to come back to Croatia. He offered him privileges and no prosecution. Zagorec was enough smart to videotape this meeting together with the austrian police and austrian secret service. All the croatian news portals published this story. But the new international scandal is yet to come.

Father of Saša Perković is the famous Josip Perković, who is accused from the german authorities to be involved as a high represant of the communist police in a emigrant-murder of Stjepan Djureković in 1983.

The German authorities issues an european arrest warrant against Josip Perković. It will be interesting to see how Josipović will react if this warrant comes to Croatia.

In March 2008 I sent a petition to president Mesić, premier Sanader and to the president of parlament committee for national security, Ranko Ostojić, where he gave evidence that the croatian secret service (while Karamarko was its chief) not only iniciated my arrest but wrote on my blog under false names and wrote defamated textes, where they accused I to be responsable for Levar’s death. Nobody answered on my petition, and the Committee didn’t discused about the petition allthough it was its duty.

Dear friend, if you are still interested in my case, I beg you to contact the new president Josipović, the premier Kosor and the president of the parlament committe, Ranko Ostojić. You mentioned an open letter to Karamarko?!

If there will be no improvment for us, we will be forced to stay in Switzerland for another few years. I had received another anonymous calls (with threats as if you hear a knife rasping on metalground ) after he gave an interview to the Radio 101 about Perković and Josipović. There were three such calls, anonymous. About the old threats (on peratovic.blog.hr), I had notified the police in 2008, nobody from the police and the state attorney informed me if there are any news.

In April a freelance journalist Zeljko Peratovic received two death threats posted on his blog. One of the threats was investigated by the police and the State Prosecutor’s Office, but the results were not made public. It is alleged that the other death threat was not investigated.

Dinner at Mesic’s place – the twilight of Croatian journalism

(on croatian: Večera kod Mesića – sumrak hrvatskog novinarstva)

Modern twilight of Croatian political journalism has started on dinner at President Stjepan Mesic, his controverse councelor Budimir Loncar, the publisher of Nacional, Ivo Pukanic, coowner of EPH, Ninoslav Pavic and directora of WAZ Bodo Hombach and Srdjan Kerim, about which public found out for the first time in comments in Dear Blog in my basic 45 Lines.

I continued with research of the event in posts: WAZ vs. «Krone» via EPH, UPRH, NCL, Ivo Pukanic doesn’t deny the meeting with representatives of WAZ and EPH in Office of President of Croatia, Open letter to President of Union of Croatian journalists: Blog iz equal to other media.

Except at Pukanic, I was checking at Ninoslav Pavic, Stipe Oreskovic, Bodo Hombach, Boris Sprem, Budimir Loncar, Maja Razovic… Nobody wanted to give a comment. Than Pukanic openly confessed: Ivo Pukanic once more confirmed the dinner with Pavic, Mesic and Hombach. Later also Mesic confirmed the same, and last Sunday at show of Aleksandar Stankovic, President denied it was about his interfering in freedom of media. He explained that he in all that story found himself on initiative of Bodo Hombach in order to Ivo Pukanic and Ninoslav Pavic settle their dispute.

Hombach’s motive, of cours, doesn’t have anything with freedom of media in Croatia. His interest was to Ivo Pukanic stop in Austrian media with accusations that WAZ in Croatia started to cooperate with mobsters from EPH, because those Pukanic’s accusations could financialy damage WAZ – dismissal of contract with Krone.

And the motive of President Stjepan Mesic and Ivo Pukanic started to appear after meeting Pavic-Pukanic, in September this year, about what reported anonymous commenter in 45 lines:

Buddy, yesterday in colourful restaurant «Medvednica», at Rodjo’s, for three hours and twenty minutes nicely treated Ninoslav Pavic and Ivo Pukanic Puki, who was also the host of the meal. What were they talking about, we will inform you soon…

Ah, probably, Puki gave to Ninek message from Remetinec, like: don’t crap too much man, because Hrvoje said that your car will explode again, but not empty, but with your family. Now for confirmation is needed to track closely EPH’s media covering of Petrac case.

After lunch in restaurant «Medvednica» it becomes clear what conditions of deal, which was blessed by President Mesic, should fulfill WAZ and EPH. Trial of Hrvoje Petrac, who was for years the most attacked exactly in issues of EPH, was weakly researched by Pavic-Hombach’s journalists. The only exception are Davor Butkovic and Gordan Malic, who also extremely lightly remind on earlier suspicious connected with Petrac.

Modern twilight of Croatian journalism appears clear to everyone who doesn’t close his eyes. In issues of EPH no more are questioned Petrac’s mob businesses, his financial connections with President Stjepan Mesic and publisher Ivo Pukanic. It is ironic that public source of informations about connection of Hrvoje Petrac with Ivo Pukanic and Mesic’s Office, former chief of police, Ranko Ostojic, today employed in EPH as a member of board of managers of Slobodna Dalmacija.

Without any critics are released statements of President Stjepan Mesic, who process of Hrvoje Petrac transfers in public lynch of the damaged (his son was kidnapped) Vladimir Zagorac.

Not only journalists of EPH, but nobody in Croatian mainstream media, doesn’t comment following topics: Synchronised Petrac and Mesic, President Mesic against journalists hierlings, President Mesic lies about emigrant money and Racan, also as Mesic, doesn’t say the truth about emigrant money.

What is the most tragic, all blogs are behaving about these questions as mainstream media do. No one bloger, except few nicks of commenters on my blog, doesn’t deal critical with the trial of Hrvoje Petrac for kidnapping minor son of Tomislav Zagorac.

Instead of conclusion:

It is understandible to me the behaving of mainstream journalists. They don’t want to resent to their bosses and not to find themselves on the street as seven journalists of Glas Istre recently did, or as I did last year. Some are flattering to President Mesic, because he is the source of information for them on which they build their anti-tudjman-anti-hdz image generals after battle. Or they were Tudjman people in time of Tudjman, but they are lazy and incompetent to work in research journalism, so for them is the easiest, in order to stay in business, to trade with Mesic.

Nevertheless, I can’t understand what stops blogers to start to take off the masks of connections of mob, main authority and mainstream media. Are (annonymous) blogers afraid of revenge of Hrvoje Petrac, President Mesic, Ivo Pukanic; to be accused of being Sanader’s men, hierlings of Vladimir Zagorac? Funny and tragic!

Munib Suljić utjelovljuje sve hrvatske predodžbe o war dogsima.

Ne svojom voljom imao sam s njim posla:

Novinarima koji su pisali o njegovim i zločinima njegovih suboraca javno je prijetio, a na kolegu Peratovića (tada novinara tjednika Globus) u jesen 1999. čak je i fizički nasrnuo. Na suđenju zbog tog napada Suljić se, iznoseći obranu, rasplakao tvrdeći da je teški šećeraš, da je nezaposleni ugostitelj, bez prihoda i da živi u hotelu Laguna. Gdje su nestali navodni švicarski milijuni i zarada od novigradskih lokala, nikad nije pojasnio. Sud mu je na kraju odredio da mora platiti 662 kune kazne.

Update:Munib Suljić je umro je prema službenom pripćenju mnistarstva pravosuđa u petak 25. kolovoza o.g. od karcinoma bronha . Teško da će se nakon Suljićeve smrti razriješiti sudbina Marine Nuić, a pitanje je kako će teći istraga protiv Tomislava Merčepa, obzirom da je pokojnik trebao biti pokajnik u toj priči.

Ljubitelj dobre lulice Drago Hedl nas izvješćuje, a prenosi i Radio 101 da su Vjenceslav Bill i Ladislav Bognar zatražili od ministarstva pravosuđa obustavu procesa na osječkom sudu gdje su ih Branimir Glavaš i Darko Tolić tužili za klevetu jer da se protiv Glavaša u Zagrebu vodi istražni postupak o stvarima koje su tužitelji ocijenili klevetom.Da podsjetimo, Glavaš i Tolić su Billa i Bognara tužili za u kojima su ih ocijenili odgovornima za smrti hrvatskih branitelja Mate Šabića Šabana i Tihomira Međugorca Kjota.

Temeljem kaznene prijave Glavnog državnog odvjetnika Mladena Bajića u Zagrebu se protiv Glavaša vodi postupak za ratni zločin ubojstva nekolicine srpskih civila, a ne Kjota i Šabića.

Sam je Vjenceslav Bill nakon svjedočenja pred istražnim sucem Zdenkom Posavcem kazao da nema saznanja o temi istražnog postupka.

Temeljem koje se pravne osnove onda traži ukidanje procesa za klevetu ostat će poznato samo Billu, Bognaru i Hedlu.

Vjenceslav Bill je do sada izbjegavao otići na osječki sud jer da navodno nije sposoban doći u Osijek obzirom da je kako tvrdi 1991. tamo doživo traumu (kako je pričao svakom tko ga je bio spreman slušati, po glavi ga je tresnuo osječki istražni sudac Radoslav Arambašić).

Na mp3-ici koju prilažem Vjenceslav Bill kaže da je prošle godine u veljači bio u Osijeku, i to u policiji gdje je, između ostalog, uvjerio i Krunoslava Fehira da će Glavaš past, pa se mali javio da svjedoči. A gdje je tad bio alibi strah? Ovaj podcast otrkiva i što je Bill savjetovao Glavnom državnom odvjetniku Mladenu Bajiću prije pokretanja slučaja Glavaš.

Ne mogu podržavati sumnjive svjedoke koji su gnjusno prijetili mojoj porodici i meni. Zato poslušajte:

Kada danas kao jedini političar nakon 15 godina kaže da je spomenk Nikoli Tesli u Gospiću miniran, predsjednik Stjepan Mesić, zasigurno ima i druge događaje u tom gradu koji su poprilično zaprljali lice Domovine. Ne tako davno preminuli Ante Karić, Mesićev kum, svjedočio je u svojstvu predsjednika Kriznog štaba za Liku na riječkom sudu u procesu protiv Tihomira Oreškovića i Mirka Norca.

Ante Karić je poznavao osobu koja je za potrebe haaškog suda koncem 1998. dala video iskaz iznoseći brojne šokantne pojedinosti o događajima u Gospiću 1991.-1993. Prema potvrdi dvojice svjedoka Mesić je 1999. vidio spomenuti iskaz i zgrozio se nad onim što je čuo.

U današnjem podcastu čuti ćete prvi dio iskaza ženske osobe, sudionice događaja opisanih u presudi sutkinje Ike Šarić protiv Tihomira Oreškovića, Mirka Norca i Stjepana Grandića. Zbog tadašnjeg stava vrha Državnog odvjetništva, odnosno zamjenika Glavnog državnog odvjetnika Dragana Novosela, da optužnicom ne budu obuhvaćeni svi mračni događaji, priča koju ćete čuti nije bila predmetom rasprave na riječkom sudu.

Čak i svjedokinja koja je nakon davanja ovog iskaza bila zastrašivana nije o okolnostima koje ćete čuti bila ispitivana na procesu u Rijeci. No da njen šokatni iskaz nije izmišljotina potvrdio je intervju Tomislava Orekovića, bivšeg policijskog inspektora iz Gospića koji je zbog prijetnji smrću s obitelji izbjegao u Njemačku, objavljen 2002. u Jutarnjem listu. Tomislav Orešković je sudjelovao u pronalaženje jedne žrtve koja je preživjela seksualna iživljavanja u organizaciji Tihomira Oreškovića. Predstavnici riječkog suda koji su sipitivali Njemačkoj izbjegle svjedoke nisu inzistirali na ovoj priči u razgovoru s Tomislavom Oreškovićem i Zdenkom Bandom, koji je žrtve spašavao još 1991.

Iako nije sudski dokazana, ne znači da priča nije istinita. Uostalom, uvjerite se sami!

Koncem 2004. u vrijeme afere Puljiz dao sam interview Radio Kninu o aktualnoj manipulaciji obavještajnom zajednicom te prepričao svoje iskustvo s Josipom Perkovićem kad mi se ustodobno nudio da će mi biti zlatna koka, a ne prihvatim li to, on bi me mogao ubiti.

Kako sam i prepostavljao, ispostavilo se da predsjednik Stjepan Mesić nje u prvom redu štitio prava novinarke, već je slučaj iskoristio da prekine istrage POA-e koje je odobrio Sanader, a bavile su se nekim sumnjivim ljudima iz Predsjednikovog okruženja. Drugi, stvarniji motiv od zaštite prava građanke Puljiz, bio je instaliranje sebi odanog čovjeka, Tomislava Karamarka, na mjesto ravnatelja POA-e.

Kada su Mesića, koji je tvrdio da je smijenjeni šef POA Joško Podbevšek naredio prisiljavanje novinarke Helene Puljiz da špijunira Ured Predsjednika, te da je u jednom POA-inom izvještaju, na temelju razgovora s umirovljenim udbašem, stajalo i Predsjednikovo ime, pitali kako što je novi ravnatelj POA-e Karamarko otkrio o špijuniranju institucije Predsjednika, isti je nonšalantno odgovorio:

- Karamarko mi je rekao da sam bio samo kolateralna žrtva.

Dakle, mnogo buke ni oko čega. Zapravo, Mesić je galamu iskoristio za postizanje svojih ciljeva.

Hrvoja Petrača se u zadnje vrijeme počelo povezivati i sa samoubojstvom poduzetnika Davora Cepetića. Trenutno traje istraga protiv Sebastijana Samija Chake (Čake) osumnjičenog da je reketareći Cepetića prozročio njegovo samoubojstvo.

Zanimljivo je da su i žrtva i navodni počinitelj u kumskim odnosima s Petračem.

Gordan Malić je u prošlom Globusu produbio priču o povezanosti Hrvoja Petrača s reketarenjem kuma Davora Cepetića.

Priloženi podcast prvotno je emitiran na sad već ugašenom BBC Hrvatska 01. rujna 2005. dan nakon što je saopćeno da je Hrvoje Petrač uhićen u Grčkoj. Vijesti su vodili Barbara Peranić i Toni Volarić.

Naglasio sam u komentaru da će istražiteljima biti teško dokazati da je Hrvoje Petrač financirao Gotovinin bijeg obzirom da je neposredno pred tajkunovo uhićenje kod Opatije na motociklu smrtno stradao bivši direktor Petračevog kasina, Davorin Firis kojeg je USKOK sumnjičio da je bio spona u finaciranju generalovog bijega.
